The signing domain — documents for signature · sign.rieckflow.dev
Last updated 2026-10-04
This statement covers the signing domain: the page where you read and sign a document that has been sent to you. The debtor portal, the customer portal and the payment domain are separate services, each with its own statement. The information has been prepared with reference to section 35 and annex 4 of the Danish Act on accessibility requirements for products and services, and WCAG 2.1 level AA is our technical target.
Compliance status
The signing page is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, and one deviation is significant. The page is opened with a personal link and shows a specific document, so it cannot be part of the automated release check and has not been reviewed systematically with a screen reader. The wording of the document can be read by machine in the viewer, whereas the drawn signature cannot be made by keyboard alone. Both are described under “Non-accessible content” together with the route you can use instead.
The service and how to use it
You open the document with the personal link from the sender, and if the document is protected by a code, you enter that first. The document fills the page, and you can zoom in and download it. At the bottom you sign — either with MitID or by typing your name and drawing your signature — or you can decline to sign. If there is more than one party, you can see whether it is your turn. After you have signed, the link works for seven days; after that you can get a copy from the sender.
How we address the requirements
The page has semantic landmarks, and the top bar and the actions are kept separate from the document. The buttons can be reached by keyboard and show visible focus, status — signed, declined, not your turn — appears as text, and errors such as a wrong code or an interrupted MitID session are announced to screen readers. The access code can be pasted from the clipboard. The QR code at the signing step is an offer to continue on your phone, not a requirement: the whole journey can be completed on the device you are already using. The appearance can be switched between light and dark.
Non-accessible content
The document is rendered as an image in the viewer, but a text layer sits on top of it, so the wording can be read by machine and not only seen. If you would rather read the document in your own PDF reader, use the “Download” button — the files are not necessarily tagged to PDF/UA, though. If you need the wording in another accessible format or read aloud, contact the sender or us BEFORE you sign; you should never sign a document you have not been able to read. The drawn signature requires that you can draw with a mouse, a finger or a pen, and it cannot be made by keyboard alone. The sender can instead send the document for signing with MitID, where nothing has to be drawn — write to the sender or to us and we will arrange it. MitID and NemLog-in are supplied by an external provider and form part of the journey without our being able to change them.
Feedback and contact
If you find that something is not accessible to you, or you need content in another format, email rieck@rieckflow.com. Please describe the page and the action you were trying to complete. We reply as soon as possible and within 14 days at the latest.
Enforcement and complaints
If you do not receive a satisfactory reply, you can bring the matter before the relevant supervisory authority. For services within the Danish Safety Technology Authority's remit, inaccessible services can be reported through the reporting form at sik.dk/tip. Since January 2026, the Danish Safety Technology Authority has been part of the Danish Business Authority.
Monitoring and maintenance
The page has not been reviewed systematically with assistive technology. Of the two known issues above, a text layer has been added for one, so the wording can be read by machine. The other remains open — the drawn signature requires a pointing device, and MitID is the accessible alternative. Findings are recorded as tasks with an owner and a status. The statement is updated when the service changes materially and at least once a year.
